RTL Design Quality
All three markets serve primarily Arabic-speaking audiences, requiring right-to-left layout support. UAE sites handle RTL/LTR switching most consistently for bilingual users. Saudi and Qatari sites sometimes have alignment issues when toggling between Arabic and English content.
Regional Payment Innovation
The Gulf leads in payment method diversity β Mada (Saudi debit network), Apple Pay, Tamara and Tabby (buy-now-pay-later), and traditional COD all coexist. BNPL adoption is particularly high in Saudi Arabia, where Tamara appears on 60%+ of major e-commerce sites.
